RECOGNITION

BIOLOGY
Range
Pholcus phalangioides is widespread. Although several other species of Pholcus are found in the eastern United States, P. phalangioides is the only species in the genus on the West Coast. It is very common in homes and the photos clearly show the spider's characteristic color pattern and abdominal shape.. R.J. Adams, 10 June, 2010 - 7:20pm
