Insects of Oakland Municipal Service Center (Edgewater) - Oakland, CA

Oakland's Public Works Agency (PWA) maintains landscapes for City facilities. Features of PWA's maintenance headquarters feature a row of olive trees, roses, coffee berry, Gazania and a magnolia. Insects may be seen all year round. However, Oakland has planted milkweed to support the Monarch Butterfly and intends to plant foliage to support native bees.
