RECOGNITION
Description
Antennae are usually elbowed, never with more than 13 segments. Most are dark colored, some are metallic green or blue. Wings are clear. Generally, wings are held flat over the abdomen.

0.1-20 mm, averaging 1.5 mm, usually under 3mm.

Food
